He learns that his daughter Maggie is dating the basketball teams captain called Stan. He finds out that Stan is a bully who beats up his son Alex. Michael, seeing all this, decides to do something to change the course of his kids lives and help them from avoiding the same mistakes he made.
Michael after joining the school makes friends with his daughter and supports her when she is dumped by Stan. He also teaches Alex to fight back and with his help makes it into the basketball team. He also helps him win the girl of his dreams. The story takes a turn when his wife turns up at a party and he kisses her. This scene is witnessed by his daughter Maggie who gets angry and disgusted at him. Michael then proceeds to set things right again by clearing up the confusion taking the help of his best friend Ned. Mathew Perry has done a great job at depicting the adult Michael while the younger version of him is played by Zac Efron.
Apart from its popular cast, 17 again movie hasnt got anything much to offer. It comes off as just another teen flick with the all too common scrip. It hasnt been received very well by teens or critics worldwide. However the jokes in the movie are fairly good and commendable and are worth watching the movie for.
