Between all the different moralities, ethics, cultures, etc, women all over the world can come together with at least one thing, and that’s beauty. American Beauty is a big deal to women, as well as beauty in other countries. Different countries have different standards with which the women have to live up to. I am going to run through some different techniques women do in our county and others in order to pamper themselves.

A couple ways in which you can glamour up yourself is by using olive oil as your conditioner. This is said to leave a finishing shine to your hair, and it is also suppose to strengthen it. Woman in China have different reasoning behind being considered beautiful. Chinese woman believe that the whiter your skin is, the prettier you look. If the skin were dark, it would be harder to spot imperfections that are not appealing to the opposite sex. Also, woman in China are not required to shave their armpits or legs.

Woman in Spain use olive oil to create facial and body masks’. When preparing for a manicure and pedicure, put your fingers and/or toes in a bowl of olive oil for a few seconds. This softens the area, making it easier to shape the nail. Also, it will be less painful because your cuticles are shapeable.

In England, women have a special technique used their eyes are irritated. They preserve tea bags by storing them in the refrigerator. Marla is going to many of the same meetings that he is. She is there for the same reasons also. This makes him feel like his space is invaded. After a meeting, they talk. They decide to go to separate meetings. They go over which ones she will keep. He will attend the others. This reminds him that he is a fake. He finds himself unable to sleep again.

On a trip home, he meets Tyler Durdin. Tyler is an interesting man. He is very antisocial and outspoken. He represents a kind of freedom to the man. When he leaves, Tyler hands him his phone number. Later, his apartment blows up. He remembers Tyler and calls him. Tyler invites him to stay. However, there is one condition. He must punch Tyler in the face. They fight for some time. Later, they are both exhausted and at the same time, refreshed. Fighting makes the man feel better.

When he gets to Tyler’s home, he is surprised. It is an old, dilapidated house. There is unsafe electric conditions and the roof leaks. However, he decides to stay. Some time later, he calls Marla. He wants to be sure that she will not crash his support group. Marla tells him that she has taken an overdose of pills. She asks him to come over and watch her die. As she rambles, he sets the phone down and leaves. Tyler picks up the phone.

Marla and Tyler become lovers. This surprises the man. What can he possibly see in her? Then Tyler has an odd request. The man can never mention Tyler to Marla. He thinks it is most unusual, but agrees. Meanwhile their fighting club is becoming popular. Many men show up to join each week. They are men from all walks of life.

They set specific rules for their club. You can never talk about it. Fighting is between two men. If it is your first night, you have to fight. The club continues and gains a lot of popularity. As it expands, the man notices, more people in everyday life, which are members.

Their club begins to stretch world-wide. The man learns of terrorist activity and Project Mayhem. He beings to investigate, and is shocked at his findings. The movie becomes puzzling, interesting, and exciting, as it reaches its climax. Fight Club can be a good way to spend the evening.

All the while that Gump is living some incredible experiences, he keeps being haunted by his love for his childhood friend Jenny. Jenny became his friend on the first day of school and came from an abusive household. As Jenny supported Gump in childhood, Gump supports the damaged Jenny throughout her turbulent adult life and self-destructive behavior.

Both the movie and the book are filled with events that will make you laugh, smirk, sigh and cry. And when the credits roll you start to wonder who was the smart one and who of us might learn a thing or two about how to live life from the innocent and sweet Gump.

Capra’s Its a Wonderful Life is without a doubt one of the all time feel-good movies. To begin with, the film deals with an aspect of the holidays that few other films are brave enough to handle: Depression, nihilism, disappointment, negativity. Heck, the movie’s first act ends with Jimmy Stewart, the friendliest and warmest actor that ever lived, getting ready to jump off a bridge and off himself!

It is because of this ugliness, this darkness and pessimism, that it is so heroic to see Stewart’s George Bailey overcome the odds and learn to love his life again. True optimism only counts in the face of adversity. Anyone can be positive in one of those weepy made for cable Lifetime movies where nobody ever really faces any true challenges, but Bailey faces the worst challenges of his life, and learns to face them with a sense of hope.

The movie ranks alongside Rocky as one of the greatest “happy tears” films of all time. If you’re not shedding them by the end of the film, then sorry, but… What the heck is wrong with you? Any real, live human being can’t help but at least feel a little moisture in their eyes when the bell rings and the angel gets its wings. It is simply a matter of optimism triumphing over negativity.

The movie actually flopped on release for some reason or other. Capra was always a director you could rely on to make a lot of money for the studios, but for whatever reason, this one just didn’t grab the initial audience. It’s much closer to a Marx Brothers film than it is to The Dirty Dozen or Saving Private Ryan. This is exactly why it was so controversial, and why it stands as a shockingly sincere and honest statement on the nature of war.

The film is funny because the subject matter is funny. Terrifying, yes, but funny. The notion of nuclear war is so ridiculous and absurd that you can’t help but laugh at the logical inconsistencies that would lead to such scenarios. In fact, Kubrick tried to write the film as a drama, only to find that that was nearly impossible. The subject of the jokes are the insecure men who send brave soldiers off to die for the sake of their egos.

The film is primarily a comedy, and it’s a real comedy. The jokes aren’t just meant to “make you think”, they’re really there to make you laugh, so while the movie definitely makes its point, it’s certainly not the sort of humor that’s “Not funny, but has something to say”. The humor is, in fact, incredibly funny.

George C. Scott deserves commendation, as well, for his role as General Buck Turgidson. Scott gives probably the wildest performance of his career. Usually known for his trademark whisper quiet growling, Scott was tricked into giving a more over the top performance when Kubrick told him that these would just be “practice takes” to work out the scene before doing a real one. Similarly, Slim Pickens was tricked into playing it straight for a funnier effect as Major Kong by being told that the film was a serious war drama.
